  • Pacific Coast

    DAY 1 SYDNEY – HUNTER VALLEY

    The Pacific Coast is one of Australia’s interesting scenic drives covering Sydney to Brisbane on an adventurous trip. The first point of call on this journey is Hunter Valley, which is the oldest wine producing area in New South Wales.

    DAY 2 HUNTER VALLEY – PORT MACQUARIE

    From Hunter Valley you will travel through Cessnock, Kurri Kurri to Raymond Terrace where you join the Pacific Highway. Just north of Bulahdelah, there will be a turn-off to Forster and Tuncurry. Enjoy a scenic drive passing Smiths Lake.

    On arrival to Port Macquarie you will encounter beautiful golden beaches and national parks. Admire the natural beauty of Hastings and Camden Haven Valleys nearby.

    DAY 3 – 4 PORT MACQUARIE – COFFS HARBOUR

    Head back on the Pacific Highway and continue onwards on the Pacific Coast drive to Coffs Harbour.

    Coffs Harbour is a sight for the eyes! With glorious mountains, lush rainforests, golden sands and banana plantations, there is plenty to see. Coffs promenade also has a range of things to do and includes shops, restaurants, botanic gardens and more.

    DAY 5 COFFS HARBOUR – BYRON BAY

    On day 5 it is time to make the next journey towards Byron Bay. The coast road to Yamba is a scenic route and also popular for surfing and beach life.

    There is plenty to enjoy at Bryon Bay, a place many visit for its amazing beaches and relaxing atmosphere. Whilst at Byron Bay, surfing is a must – it is renowned for the breaks worldwide! Other water sports you should try out include boogie boarding and bodysurfing.

    DAY 6 BYRON BAY – GOLD COAST

    At the centre of the Gold Coast is Surfers Paradise. The Gold Coast is one of the best highlights of Australia, with 300 days of sunshine every year it’s not hard to see why! It is home to amazing beaches and has lots of great surf spots. There are many other attractions in the area such as theme parks, water parks, national parks and superb scenery.

    DAY 7 GOLD COAST – BRISBANE

    The last day sees you finally reach Brisbane and finishing the epic Pacific Coast drive of Australia.

  • Great Ocean Road

    DAY 1 MELBOURNE – BALLARAT

    The Great Ocean Drive is Australia’s most epic coastal drives. Starting off in Melbourne, the first stop on this tour takes you to Ballarat via the Western Freeway.

    Ballarat has plenty of attractions, including Sovereign Hill, a theme park which recreates the old gold rush days and it is where the world’s second biggest gold nugget was found. Other attractions at Ballarat include the Gold Museum and the Ballarat Fine Art Gallery.

    DAY 2 BALLARAT – APOLLO BAY

    From a day of exploring Ballarat, the next stop on the Great Ocean Drive is Apollo Bay. The drive will take you through Geelong, Torquay, Anglesea and Lorne, before arriving at Apollo Bay. Apollo offers some astounding beaches and is a scenic fishing port. History and cultural buffs will enjoy the Historical Museum and The Bass Strait Shell Museum.

    DAY 3 APOLLO BAY – PORT FAIRY

    Continuing onwards, the Great Ocean Road moves further to Port Campbell, visiting Port Campbell, Peterborough and Warrnambool. Port Fairy features 50 historic buildings and is part of the National Trust. The place is a pleasant seaside resort and is one of the oldest settlements in Victoria.

    DAY 4 PORT FAIRY – MT. GAMBIER

    Travel onwards to Portland for the next part of the Great Ocean Road. Founded in 1834, Portland has beautiful surroundings, from the seascapes of Cape Nelson and Cape Bridgewater.

    From Portland, the next stop is Mount Gambier which is located south east of Adelaide. Star attractions at Mount Gambier is the Blue Lake and The Cave in the centre of the city. The Blue Lake changes from a grey colour to vibrant blue in November each year, remaining that way until late March.

    DAY 5 MT. GAMBIER – ROBE

    After leaving Mount Gambier, the coastal drive will continue to Millicent, Beachport and Robe. Enjoy the sights of rural surroundings of the pine plantation and sawmill. Explore the caves of Tantanoola and hear about the legend of the Tananoola Tiger.

    The Port of Robe is known for exporting wool and horses. Visit the Robe Historical Centre for an insight into the significance of this town.

    DAY 6 ROBE – VICTOR HARBOR

    Depart Robe and travel to Kingston where you join the Princes Highway to Murray Bridge. At Murray Bridge join the South Eastern Freeway to Callington where you leave the Freeway turning left and travel south through the town of Strathalbyn. Continue past the towns of Goolwa and Port Elliot to arrive at Victor Harbor.

    Kingston is a delightful seaside resort and fishing town. Enjoy fresh seafood here and visit sites of interest such as the Colonial Tea Rooms and Gallery, the Court House and many other buildings under the National Trust.  

    Victor Harbor is a coastal resort and the biggest one on Horseshoe Bay. History of the town has been preserved and there are landmarks throughout the area. One of the most famous is Rosetta Bluff, which can be seen in the skyline west of the town.

    DAY 7 VICTOR HARBOR – ADELAIDE

    Adventure on to Hahndorf before making the last stop to Adelaide. Hahndorf is located in the Adelaide Hills and is the oldest German village in Australia. There are many fascinating highlights here such as European style bakeries, arts and craft shops and more.
