Pacific Coast

DAY 1 SYDNEY - HUNTER VALLEY

The Pacific Coast is one of Australia’s interesting scenic drives covering Sydney to Brisbane on an adventurous trip. The first point of call on this journey is Hunter Valley, which is the oldest wine producing area in New South Wales.

DAY 2 HUNTER VALLEY - PORT MACQUARIE

From Hunter Valley you will travel through Cessnock, Kurri Kurri to Raymond Terrace where you join the Pacific Highway. Just north of Bulahdelah, there will be a turn-off to Forster and Tuncurry. Enjoy a scenic drive passing Smiths Lake.

On arrival to Port Macquarie you will encounter beautiful golden beaches and national parks. Admire the natural beauty of Hastings and Camden Haven Valleys nearby.

DAY 3 - 4 PORT MACQUARIE - COFFS HARBOUR

Head back on the Pacific Highway and continue onwards on the Pacific Coast drive to Coffs Harbour.

Coffs Harbour is a sight for the eyes! With glorious mountains, lush rainforests, golden sands and banana plantations, there is plenty to see. Coffs promenade also has a range of things to do and includes shops, restaurants, botanic gardens and more.

DAY 5 COFFS HARBOUR - BYRON BAY

On day 5 it is time to make the next journey towards Byron Bay. The coast road to Yamba is a scenic route and also popular for surfing and beach life.

There is plenty to enjoy at Bryon Bay, a place many visit for its amazing beaches and relaxing atmosphere. Whilst at Byron Bay, surfing is a must – it is renowned for the breaks worldwide! Other water sports you should try out include boogie boarding and bodysurfing.

DAY 6 BYRON BAY - GOLD COAST

At the centre of the Gold Coast is Surfers Paradise. The Gold Coast is one of the best highlights of Australia, with 300 days of sunshine every year it’s not hard to see why! It is home to amazing beaches and has lots of great surf spots. There are many other attractions in the area such as theme parks, water parks, national parks and superb scenery.

DAY 7 GOLD COAST - BRISBANE

The last day sees you finally reach Brisbane and finishing the epic Pacific Coast drive of Australia.
